Quitman - Brooks County fans knew the return of head coach Maurice Freeman would get their football program turned around.
Trojan fans probably weren't expecting coach Freeman to get the job done in less than a year.
Brooks County needs just one win in their final two games to clinch their first region title since 2005.
The Trojans would love to get that win Friday night at home against a very good Cook High team.
Coach Freeman led Brooks County to their only state title in 1994 and is thrilled with the support he's seen in his first year back.
Maurice Freeman said "We're all bubbling with enthusiasm and our parents are following us to games taking charter busses so it's not just the athletes, its everybody in town that's extremely happy about it. And we just want to continue the hard work and see where this season takes us."
