Albany - Darton College will host the state men's and women's soccer semifinals and championship matches this weekend.
The Cavaliers hope they will be able to play on their home field.
The Darton men's soccer team is on the road at Young Harris on Wednesday in the first round of the Georgia Junior College Region XVII tournament.
The winner will advance to the semifinals on Saturday night at Darton.
A Darton men's squad with 15 freshmen finished 5-6 in region play but one of those wins was against 4th ranked Georgia Perimeter.
This will be Darton's second trip to Young Harris. The Lions won 2-1 four weeks ago but the Cavs believe they are ready for the rematch.
Darton men's coach Bart Sasnett said. "These guys are full capable of getting themselves motivated and ready to go to play. No matter where we are playing. rather it is home or away. I think we will be ready."
Darton men play at Young Harris Wednesday at 3:00 p.m..
Darton women have a bye in the first round of the women's tournament.
The Lady Cavs will play either Truett-McConnell or ABAC in the semifinals Friday at 6:00 p.m..
