CAIRO, GA (WALB) - A 15-year old girl was kidnapped from her Cairo home Sunday night. The girl is back home and ok and she told police it was a fellow migrant worker who abducted her.
She says 22 year old Julio Jimenez broke into her house, wearing all black, a ski mask, and gloves, tied her up, handcuffed her to the backseat of his car, and drove off.
Witnesses spotted them on Hwy 93 headed toward Thomas County. Officers later spotted the two off a side road.
Jimenez ran off.
Police say the girl, who's name they refuse to release, is okay. Feedback
