LAKELAND, GA (WALB) - The Lanier County Board of Education will decide whether a basketball Coach charged with sexual assault will keep his job.
42 year-old Robert Williams is accused of having inappropriate relationships with two female students under the age of 16.
Williams, who was the P.E. teacher and basketball coach at Lanier High, is on paid administrative leave.
The School Board will hold a termination hearing Friday to decide whether he'll be fired or remain on suspension until the outcome of his case.
Officials with Tyson Foods announced Friday that the plant in Dawson will permanently close. The poultry facility employs 300 people.More >>
