A South Georgia man convicted of a double murder wants a re-trial.
Roy Bridges of Whigham stabbed and killed his wife, 64-year-old Joanne Bridges, and his mother-in-law, 84-year-old Christine Ulmer, in December of 1997.
More than two years ago, a Grady County jury convicted Bridges on two counts of murder, and he was sentenced to two life terms.
Judge Wallace Cato has not made a decision on a re-trial.
