ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Deerfield Windsor's Kelly Conway will be defending her state title in cross country Monday in search of her 3rd straight individual championship.
Title number three won't come easy. Kelly should be tested from FPD's Grace Tinkey who has defeated Conway in 3 races this year. Kelly has set several personal records and is feeling confident about defending her title.
Its been a challenging year for Kelly as she battled sickness early in the season.
"You build up for a long time to help get in shape so it takes a while so when your rhythm gets messed up its kind of hard to get back into shape" said Conway.
Kelly will defend her title Monday at 1:30 in Macon.
