Americus-  The August 20th burglary of Harrison's Sports Bar & Grill has been solved.

Thirty-year-old David Toms of Americus, and 20-year-old Crystal Young of Leslie, were charged with one count of burglary.

Barry Smith, 37, of  was arrested for one count of burglary, felony Theft by Deception, and False Swearing.

Thirty-three-year old Stuart Scott, also of Americus, was arrested for felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.

The ATM stolen from Harrison's, and five newspaper boxes stolen over the last two months, have been recovered," said Chief Michael Yates. "The case was investigated and solved by Sgt. Richard McCorkle of the Americus Police Department Investigations Division, with assistance and support from Agents of the Sumter County Multi-Agency Drug task Force."
