Mr. Henry Grady Dunahoo Jr., 84, 2508 Whispering Pines Rd, passed away Thursday at his residence.

His funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Kimbrell-Stern with interment at New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines at 4:30 PM.  Rev. Tommy Lowery and Dr. Steve Edison officiating.  The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:00 PM Friday, October 24, 2008 at Kimbrell-Stern.

A native of Fort Gaines GA and a 1943 graduate of Fort Gaines High School, Mr. Dunahoo has lived in Albany since 1962.  He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army during WWII.  He was employed as parts manager for Irv Wolfe Dodge, Joe Nix Dodge, and retired with Carl Gregory Chrysler Dodge.  He was a long time member of First Christian Church of Albany.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Iva Loray Pearce Dunahoo and his son Henry Grady Dunahoo III. 

He is survived by his wife Eugenia Gay Dunahoo of Albany, 3 grandchildren: Stephanie Corcelius and her husband Jamie of Garden City, Brandy Collins and her husband James of Springfield, and Dax Dunahoo of Savannah; 4 great grandchildren: Dallas Cornelius, Mackenzie Cornelius, both of Garden City, Zack Harvey and Brayden Collins, both of Springfield; his daughter in law JoAnn S. Dunahoo of Savannah; his brother Hilburn Dunahoo and wife Joan of Centreville AL; 4 sisters: Eloise Miller, Iris Howard, Illa Dunahoo, all of Lithonia and Bobbie Coleman of Shellman.
