Police say 24-year-old Benny James Johnson the third jumped over the counter of the Ashburn Inn on East 16-th Avenue June 13th when no one was at the counter then ran away when an employee walked in on him trying to get money from the cash register.More >>
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is recovering after an armed robber beat him Monday morning. 30-year-old Jamie Williams was unlocking the gates at Mark's Greenhouse just before eight.
Williams said while he was at the back of the business, a man wearing a New York baseball hat pulled a gun out, forced him to the ground, and took his wallet.
The armed robber than kicked him in the ribs and took off running. Williams was not hurt severely.
