VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
The Valdosta State defense was impressive forcing three turnovers and coming up with a crucial goal line stand in the fourth quarter to lead the Blazers to a 21-13 victory over Harding at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium Saturday.
Markus Manson had a game-best 86 yards on the ground while the Blazer quarterbacks threw for 191 through the air. Pruitt completed 18-of-24 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns in the game while Hart was three-of-six for 48 yards and a score. Cedric Jones led the receiving corps with five receptions and 50 yards.
Valdosta State will take on North Alabama when it travels to Florence, AL. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. EDT kick-off.
