ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Democrats in Georgia are getting some help on the campaign trail from the Georgia Music Association.

Four Albany Hip-Hop artists have written a new song titled "Turn Georgia Blue." The organization hopes to reach out to younger voters and encourage them to go to the polls November fourth.

"That's the purpose of it, it's to inspire and motivate young folks it's in hip hop form," said Henry Thomas, Georgia Music Association.

The group plans to hold rallies starting this weekend in Macon and Columbus. Rallies will also be held in Augusta, Atlanta, Savannah and Valdosta. Albany's rally will be held November first.
