Two days after being cut by the Oakland Raiders, former Albany State cornerback Keyon Nash was signed to their practice squad. Nash will get to just that with the Raiders, but he is not eligible to play in any of their games.
Nash appeared in all four preseason games for the Raiders where he registered 14 tackles playing safety and on special teams.
Last year, the former Miller County Pirate had 45 tackles with two interceptions and recovered two fumbles for Albany State.
Nash was also named the most outstanding defensive player at the Cactus Bowl, an all-star game for division two players.
