Bronwood- Police say Aristotle Angel Arches' murder was a tragic surprise to his two friends who found him dead on his kitchen floor, with two shots to his head and one in his back.

Arches had apparently been dead for between six and eight hours. Authorities think whoever murdered Arches must have known him because there were no signs of forced entry at his home on Betty Wise Road in Bronwood.

Arches wife was at work when he was killed, but authorities do not know where his daughter was at the time of the murder.

One of his guns was found on the kitchen table, but a nine millimeter, the same caliber he was shot with, was missing. Authorities say nothing was taken from the house, and they are still trying to find out who killed Aristotle Arches and why.

Arches lived in his home on Betty Wise Road for about four years. He was unemployed at the time of his death.
