Albany- It's Zoo Appreciation Day at the Parks at Chehaw, and many South Georgia families had a chance to learn more about wild animals and fish.

As a part of Labor Day weekend, the Parks at Chehaw invited families out to the park to enjoy a day of recreation.

They held free fishing for senior citizens and the physically challenged. Families also went to the Wild Animal park so kids could learn about animals, like elephants, zebras and reptiles.

Several educational programs were also on display around the park today.
