Albany- April 15th is a day taxpayers dread.
October 15th is a day college basketball fans love.
Tomorrow is when college basketball teams can start practice.
Albany State Rams are so anxious they are holding a midnight madness party.
There is plenty of three point shooting and slam dunk contests to please the fans before the first official practice at midnight.
Head coach Chris Cameron is excited about his team led by all SIAC forward Scheraun King.
Lady Rams coach Robert Skinner is glad to have Nikia Trice leading his squad.
Chris Cameron said "It is just going to be a lot of fun. A lot of students are coming in now. Just getting the whole atmosphere for basketball season right like it is supposed to be."
Robert Skinner said. "It is a big thing for the students. It is a big thing for the team. We hope the community will become more involved in it."
Albany State men open the season on November 7th in an exhibition game at Georgia.
The Lady Rams open the regular season November 15th at Florida A&M.
