ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Thieves broke into two convenience stores in South Georgia Monday night and took the cash registers right off the counters.

They threw concrete through the front door.  In the pictures, you can see one thief helping himself to the cigarette display. His partner helps himself to the cash register.

They repeated the act at the Country Corner on highway 84 in Thomas County about an hour later.
