ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After losing in their homecoming game last week the Panthers of Clark Atlanta University were hoping they could spoil a homecoming themselves against Albany State Saturday.

Kisan Flakes and the Rams had other ideas. Albany State scored 3 unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter on their way to a 34-20 win over the Panthers.

Flakes completed 12 of his 14 passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

The Rams defense held Clark Atlanta to 63 yards rushing and 203 total yards of offense.

Albany State improved to 5-1 with the victory. The Rams will hit the road next Saturday to take on Tuskegee. The Golden Tigers sit a top the SIAC conference with a 6-0 record and own a 22 game winning streak.  Kick off is at 1:00.
