Albany - The Darton women's soccer team showed why they are number one in the latest national soccer coaches association junior college poll.
The Lady Cavaliers scored five goals within the first 20 minutes to easily defeat Gordon College 11-0 in their final regular season home match on Thursday.
Darton women are 13-0 and on the road Saturday at South Georgia and Monday at ABAC.
The Darton men won their third straight.
Ryan Locke's header early in the second half leads the Cavaliers to a 2-1 win over Gordon.
Darton men are 9-4 and 5-4 in region.
Cavaliers play first place South Georgia Saturday in Douglas.
