Douglas (WALB) - Coffee High coach Ken Eldridge calls Friday's game with Northside-Warner Robins the biggest game in Douglas in a long time.
Eldridge should know since he played at Coffee High.
He says usually when the Trojans have a big game it is always on the the road.
Friday, the ninth ranked Trojans put their unbeaten record on the line against a Northside team that should be fired up after last week's loss at Lowndes.
Coach Eldridge is proud of the maturity his players have shown this season.
Ken Eldridge said. "It is something these kids have truly bought into is understanding what it takes to prepare each and every day of the week. Even last week I was concerned we may have been looking ahead to Northside. Once we got into the flow of the game I could tell the kids were focused. They were talking all week about Warner Robins and not Northside."
Coffee beat Warner Robins to improve to 6-0 this season.
Coffee and Northside play Friday at 8:00 p.m. at Jardine Stadium in Douglas.
