Athens - The Georgia offense is glad to have fullback Brannan Southerland back in the starting lineup.
Southerland missed spring drills due to a broken bone in his foot.
Then early in the summer he had to have a second surgery to repair second break in the same foot.
The senior is a big part of the Georgia offense with his blocking, running and receiving skills that have him a legitimate NFL prospect.
Southerland is also a leader having been voted a team captain.
Having played on special teams in the Alabama game, Brannan Southerland is ready to return to full time duty this weekend.
Brannan Southerland said "It is great to be back. It has been a long recovery and long surgery and rehab process. Much longer than expected. Now it is even sweeter to be able to come back."
Georgia players have praised the play of Shaun Chapas during Southerland's absence and say Georgia now has depth at this key position.
