ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany teenager was arrested last night in a stolen car carjacked from an Albany man late Thursday.
17-year old Gregory Twymon is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, motor vehicle theft, and kidnapping.
Torey Mitchell told police two gunmen 2001 Lincoln carjacked from Torey Mitchell Thursday night on Towering Pines Lane. Mitchell told Police two armed men forced him into the car trunk. He escaped and the robbers shot at him as he ran.
Police say Twymon drove away when they tried to stop the Lincoln. The vehicle pursuit ended near Turner Job Corps. Police say Twymon jumped out of the car then and ran. He was caught on Schilling Drive.
