ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany teenager is indicted for murdering his cousin.

17-year old Bobby Davis is charged with killing 17-year old Edward Bell last July.

Bell was shot in the chest at this house on East Society Avenue.

Davis told Police it was an accident.

Dougherty Assistant DA Chris Cohilas said "When you have people that lack the maturity, the experience, and the ability to properly use a firearm, quite often we see crimes of violence like this. It is something that is very concerning to the District Attorney's office. We take these cases very seriously."

Davis' trial should be scheduled in about six months.

He faces life in prison if convicted of murder.
