Greenwave rolling back from disappointing 2007 season

Dawson - Lowndes-Northside game isn't the only big game on the schedule this week.

The big game in region 1-A west Friday night is in Dawson where Terrell County hosts 8th ranked and unbeaten Miller County.

The Greenwave are 3-2 with their losses coming to AAA Monroe and a 15 point loss to 5th ranked Clinch County last week.

Terrell County head coach William Huff does not believe in moral victories.

Huff does realize his team has potential when they can stay on the field with a Class A powerhouse like the Panthers.

Huff though knows potential means nothing unless his team works hard and is ready to play Friday night against the unbeaten Pirates.

William Huff said "We still have a lot of work to do. We have shown flashes of playing well. We have got to be more consistent. We are working hard this week to get ready for Miller County. We feel like we are up to the challenge."

Terrell County with a big sub-region game against unbeaten and 8th ranked Miller County starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Dawson.
