Mr. Elwin Lunday died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Georgia War Veterans Hospital in Milledgeville, GA.
His memorial service will be Saturday, October 4, at 2 PM at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Betty Lou Miller officiating.
A native of Dawson, Mr. Lunday had lived in Albany for a number of years, working in various sales positions.
He was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Lundy was a member of Radium Spring Country Club and an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Patricia "Patty" Lunday.
Survivors include his daughter: Beverly Hinson and her husband Gene, Albany; son: Michael Lunday and his wife Terry, Apollo Beach, FL; grandchildren: Amanda Lunday, Jessica Lunday, Michael Lunday; sisters: Dollie Robinson, Albany and Ethel Chamberlin, Victoria, TX.
