Dougherty County Police receive Target grant

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany business gives money to law enforcement to teach students Internet safety.

Target Stores executive team leader Sheena Tirpack gave

Dougherty County Police $500  to buy materials to given out at their internet safety educational program.

Detective Sergeant Danny Ball\Dougherty County Police said  "the parents of the children going to school and of course the children. We will give classes to teach the children how to protect themselves on the Internet."

Target has given more than 3 and a half million dollars to law enforcement across the United States.
