LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -  A night on the job turned into a frightening encounter for clerks at Homerun Foods on U.S. 19 in Lee County. It was just before a 11 Tuesday night when a man, his face hidden, entered the store demanding money.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash and fled the store on foot. Only a vague description of the suspect is known. Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office were called out to investigate the case and right now, no word if the suspect was armed or in which direction he was last seen heading in.

In-store surveillance cameras were rolling and captured the crime as it happened. No one was hurt. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriffs Office.
