ALBANY, GA (WALB) - In High School Football the Worth County Rams are off to their best start since 2004 and hoping to pull off a big upset this week
Worth County is coming off a convincing win over Dougherty and the Rams hope to be a contender for the region 1 triple A title this season. Top ranked Cairo plans on contending for the title as well and the Syrupmakers visit Worth for Homecoming Friday.
Harris Rainbow is pleased with his team's 3-1 start to the season but knows his Rams will have their hands full when Cairo visits Sylvester.
"They are the best offensive team I've seen in 12 years of coaching. They're the best defensive team I've seen probably in the last six or seven years" said Rainbow.
Worth County and Cairo will kick off on Friday at 7:30 from Milt Miller Field. Catch the highlights on WALB Friday night on the Locker Room.
