ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany police are searching for some brazen burglars who carted off major appliances from brand new town homes.

Police were called to the Enclave on Oglethorpe late Monday morning.  All eight units in the development, on Solomon Circle off East Oglethorpe Boulevard, had been broken into.

The crooks stole eight refrigerators and a stove from the vacant homes.

Police say it's smart for homeowners to wait until they move in to have expensive appliances installed.

Right now, police don't have much to go on.  If you know anything, they hope you'll call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
