Adel - A South Georgia jail inmate dies one day after being sentenced to prison.

36-year-old Brian Williams of Madison, Florida, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Cook County jail Wednesday night. He died at the hospital.

Just one day earlier, Williams was sentenced to 20 years in prison for statutory rape and reckless conduct by an HIV infected person.

Investigators don't yet know what killed him, but an autopsy is being conducted.
