ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Dougherty County Superior Court Judge candidate says she has some ideas on how to improve the court system.
Denise Marshall is currently the magistrate judge and associate state court judge. She's running against Municipal court Judge Willie Weaver.
Marshall says she has a plan of action if she's elected.
"I would like to make some changes, perhaps bringing a family division of the Dougherty Superior Court. But we need to know that we still have much to be proud of so I look forward to working with the sitting judges, to make our cases move faster and more efficiently," said Marshall.
Either Marshall or Weaver will replace Judge Loring Gray who is retiring after more than 20 years as a Superior Court Judge.
