VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - No. This isn't a ghost town. It's Hattersville. It's residents will send chills down your spine and they want you to come visit.

But once you enter this haunted village...you may never leave.

"Its called Hattersville with Mayor Hatter and he'll be at the entrance trying to lure you into become a permanent resident," says Micha Froehlich of Wild Adventures.

Hattersville is Wild Adventure's newest attraction to get you in the Halloween Spirit.

"What you've seen here before is definitely now what you've seen here now at phobia this year.  In the past, we've had haunted houses throughout the park but this year we are having them in a central location."

It's home to six horrifying haunted houses. But this elaborate village didn't go up overnight.

"Every member out here at wild adventures from the people creating the Halloween food to the people that will be in the scare houses and shows," Froehlich says.

200 employees worked for several weeks to build the village.

"For several weeks now its been a collaborative effort with everyone in the park joining together and making it come alive."

And decorate it in a ghostly fashion.

So enter if you dare and come face your fears at Phobia.

Phobia will begin Saturday and include a boo house for the kids and family shows.

It will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night until November 1st.
