CORDELE, GA (WALB) -  A Cordele businessman is accused of trying to sell hundreds of bootlegged movies and thousands of compact discs.

45-year-old Bill Cleghorn is charged with 10 felony counts of unauthorized reproduction of recorded material.

Investigators with the motion picture and recording industries purchased pirated movies and music from the Music Market on East 16th Avenue.

They then called in the Mid South Narcotics Task force and the Crisp County Sheriff's office. They raided the store last week and seized 641 counterfeit DVD's and almost six-thousand CD's valued at almost $90,000.

We told you about a similar sting in Tifton last week that netted more than $680,000 worth of merchandise.
