Albany - A bye week wasn't long enough for the Albany State Golden Rams to get back to full strength.
The unbeaten and 20th ranked Rams return to action Saturday against SIAC rival Benedict in Columbia, South Carolina.
Head coach Mike White says receiver Bobby Taylor and several defensive starters will miss this game.
Coach White knows injuries are a part of this game and it takes depth to win championships.
Coach White believes the backups will step up and bring home another conference road win this weekend.
Mike White said "You're only as good as you're next guy so being able to step up and drop off when you have an injury at one position. So again it's all about having a second guy step up and you're able to keep rolling."
Albany State and Benedict College will kick off on Saturday night at 6:00.
