VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Berrien County is the home of hogzilla. Now, its the home of Garzilla as well.

Angler Chad Leonard of Nashville reeled in a state record long nose gar.

The fish weighed 30 pounds and measured in at nearly 5 feet long.

Leonard caught the fish in the Alapaha River earlier this month.

The Department of Natural Resources says the Garzilla is two pounds heavier than the last state record gar which was caught in the Flint River in 1995.
