(Mobile, Alabama-AP) -- L-P-G-A Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez will conclude her farewell tour at the Tournament of Champions in Mobile this fall.
Lopez has officially committed to play in the 750-thousand dollar tournament October tenth-13th at Magnolia Grove's Crossings Course.
She announced earlier this year that this would be her last year as a full-time member of the tour.
Lopez, who lives in Albany, Georgia, said "Playing the Tournament of Champions, with the best players on the L-P-G-A Tour, is the perfect way to end the year. Magnolia Grove offers a wonderful setting for golf. Mobile is a great city and the fans are terrific. I appreciate all of the support I have received during my 25-year career and wish I could thank every one personally."
This will be the fourth time Lopez has competed in the event at Magnolia Grove.
