THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -  0-3 is not the start to the season head coach Richie Marsh had expected for his Thomasville Bulldogs after a making a trip to the state quarterfinals last season.

The bulldogs have been up against tough competition so far. Their opponents have a combined 7-2 record this season. They have been close in every game, most recently coming just 3 points short against the Cairo Syrup Makers.

Region Play begins this week for Thomasville and as the Bulldogs look to get in the win column the competition won't get any easier for Coach Marsh's bunch against Brooks County.

"They attack on offense. They're big, they're physical, they do a great job blocking up front and they've got some really good skill kids and defensively they're really physical" said Marsh.

Brooks County will bring a 2-1 record into Thomasville Friday. Kick off is set for 7:30.
