ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County Police believe they have cleared up at least four burglaries in West Dougherty County.

Two men who live in the Rolling Acres sub-division on Leary Road are being charged with stealing from their neighbors.

21 year old Charles Gaillard and 33 year old Charan Johnson are being held in the Dougherty County jail on prowling and loittering charges, while burglary warrants are being prepared.

Investigators say the two men have broken into at least four homes on Dove Lane and Oliver Drive,  stealing guns, TV's and electronics, and car rims. But Police suspect the two men broke into other homes over the last month.

Dougherty County Police Lt. J.C. Phillips said "They have. Particulary in that area. We feel like they are responsible for probably all the burglaries in that area, mostly on the west side of Dougherty County."

Investigators say they have recovered a number of stolen items, but not the guns that were stolen in two burglaries.
