VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta State quarterback Christ Hart threw for three touchdowns and 373 yards as the Blazers won 29 to 6 against Ouachita Baptist.

After trailing 3-2 at halftime Valdosta State poured on the offense in the second half. TJ Williams took one his his seven receptions 76 yards for a touchdown. Valdosta State finished the game with 536 total yards of offense as the Blazers cruised to victory improving their record to 3-0.

The only Blazer points in the first half came off of a safety resulting from a blocked punt by Gabe Mouled. Head Coach David Dean was pleased to see his team come from behind after trailing at the  half to get the win.

"I told them we just blew some opportunites. We were letting them have too many yards on 1st down on defense. Offensively we had some opportunities we were just killing ourselves with penalties and dropped passes and missed assignments and poor execution. I told them if we would do that in the 2nd hald we would come back and win this ballgame" said Dean.

Valdosta State will visit West Alabama next weekend.
