Twenty-six voters in Turner County lost their chance to vote in the State Senate District 13 race. That's because both Republican candidates were left off the ballot.

Turner County poll workers noticed the problem early Tuesday morning and went in and hand wrote the names of Kerry Clabaugh and Carden Summers. Election Supervisor Mike Gohagan says it was an unfortunate oversight and both candidates have been notified by mail.

Since ballots are secret, there's no way to know who cast the early ballots without the State Senate race included, but it will only be grounds for protest if it ends up being a close race.
