ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are searching for three men suspected of brutally beating a man at his east Albany apartment complex.

Police found 22-year-old Travis Douglas lying on the ground outside the Regency Club Apartments on Tompkins Avenue, a little after 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Douglas had major head trauma, but is in fair condition at Phoebe Putney Hospital.

Police say three men beat-up Douglas and then ran away.  Investigators say Douglas lives at the complex, but they're not talking about a motive.

18-year-old Jerry Coleman is one of the men they're looking for.  He's 5'9", 155 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue basketball shorts and a black tank top.

If you've seen Coleman or know anything about the attack, call Albany Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
