THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Thomasville minister is charged with battery and aggravated stalking. 38-year old Gregory Lamar Robinson is in the Thomas County Jail without bond.

Robinson lived a house on Fletcher Street in Thomasville, but not with his wife, with his girlfriend. Last month his girlfriend sought help after being thrown out of the house.

She was referred to a battered women's shelter and received a protective order against Robinson. Police say he disregarded the order, came after her, and was later arrested.

Before this time his estranged wife also had a temporary protective order on him for previous incidents.

Robinson has a history of convictions for assault, marijuana possession, and a DUI. His last employer was Robinson's Ministries. Feedback
