WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - A man had to be cut from his car after he crashed into a tree Monday afternoon in Worth County.

It happened a little after 5:30 p.m. on South County Line Road.  The driver was headed south, when he apparently lost control and hit a pine tree.

Worth County firefighters had to cut out both doors and the middle section between the doors to free the man.

The driver was taken by ambulance to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. We do not know his condition.
