BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - People in Bainbridge were lucky Monday. A BP station there was selling gas for $3.65, twenty cents lower than Monday's national average.
But employees asked customers to limit purchases to 10 gallons. Most people pumping gas Monday said they didn't mind the limit. They were just happy to find gas, and at a lower price.
"When I saw the price I pulled in and filled up, plus I looked to see if they had plastic over their handles. You know, to see if they had gas. Because a gas station up on 84, they don't even have a price they just have zero." said Bainbridge resident John McRae.
Some drivers said surrounding stations in Bainbridge were selling gas at higher prices. While other stations didn't have gas at all. Feedback
