VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A Cook County school teacher has been charged with child molestation.

34 year-old Melonie Merwin was charged Thursday with having an inappropriate relationship with a 13 year-old student.

Merwin was a teacher at Cook County primary and has since resigned her position.
