(Athens-AP) -- The Georgia men's basketball team faces a slew of post-season tournament teams on the 2002-2003 schedule, which was announced Friday by coach Jim Harrick.
Georgia has eleven games scheduled against teams that played in the NCAA Tournament last season and six more against NIT participants.
Five of those games will occur before Southeastern Conference play begins in January.
NCAA Tournament teams from last season on the schedule include Alabama, California, Florida, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh and Texas.
From last year's NIT field are L-S-U, Minnesota, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs begin the season November 14th against the Longhorns in the Coaches versus Cancer Classic in New York.
On December 7th they will face Cal in the John Wooden Classic in Anaheim, California.
Last season Georgia went 22-and-10, won a share of the S-E-C Eastern Division title and reached the second round of the N-C-A-A Tournament.
