A South Georgia teenager is killed in a single vehicle accident near Valdosta.
Eighteen-year-old Dustin Chauncey of Valdosta was traveling south on Georgia Highway 31 Thursday when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree.
GSP troopers believe the girl may have fallen asleep at the wheel. Two children restrained in the back seat were treated for minor injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
Americus Police said a shooting suspect still on the loose could be dangerous. Police said Dontrell Jordan, 22, is the suspect in a Saturday night shooting on Reddick Drive.More >>
