ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Folks who work in Downtown Albany enjoyed a mid week treat Wednesday. As part of a continuing series, folks got to spend their lunch hour on the plaza in front of the Government Center, and enjoy a free concert.
The Marine Corps Band played for the crowd. Tee Taylor says it's a great way to catch up with people she doesn't see everyday. "I think it's a great idea, coming out, meeting new people. Having fun, having lunch with co-workers you don't usually get to see and everything."
Lunch in the plaza is a free event sponsored by the city every Wednesday from noon until 1:30 PM.
