JACKSONVILLE, FL (WALB) - Investigators say a 26-year-old National Football League player and former Valdosta State All star was a target in the attack that left him with life threatening injuries.
Jacksonville Jaguars lineman Richard Collier was shot several times while sitting in his car last week, and remains in critical condition.
Teammates and friends are putting up a ten thousand dollar reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the shooter.
