BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - A Bainbridge man is in jail Tuesday for the second time in the past 24 hours. He was arrested Monday night for beating up a male friend of his ex-girlfriend, he got out, and police say he went back after her again.  26-year-old Jamichael Allen was first arrested around 7:00 Monday night and charged with battery after harassing his ex and hitting a man in the face. He was arrested outside Hutto McGiver Apartments in Bainbridge.

"We locked him up, put him in the jail, he bonded out. Then he went and hunted down his ex-girlfriend," says Taylor Mills with Bainbridge Police.

A few hours after he was released from the Decatur County Jail, his ex-girlfriend says he went to another house looking for her, threatening and beating the woman who lived there. Allen surrendered late Tuesday morning. Feedback
