ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Rams shut out Lane College 28 - 0 on Saturday and they only needed one half to do it.
Lightning canceled the second half of the game on Saturday and ASU walked away with their second victory of the season. The Rams moved up four spots in the AFCA Division II poll to number 21 Tuesday and Coach Mike White is pleased with his team's 2-0 start.
"We have a pretty explosive offense so far and we'll try and maintain that but we're gonna have to run the football. But it's great to have the deep threat and have our receivers show up like they did," said White.
Albany State is on the road Saturday at Kentucky State. Kick off is set for 1:00.
